Terms & Conditions

Please read the information below carefully. This is where we explain what you agree to by purchasing a ticket for the festival, including conditions of entry to site and site rules, use of images and terms. Terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights.

TICKETS – GENERAL INFORMATION

Once purchased, tickets cannot be transferred, exchanged, refunded or returned unless the event is cancelled, moved to another date, or if details of the event are significantly changed after an order is placed (significant changes being a change of headline act – concerts only – venue or show time).

No duplicate tickets will be issued to replace lost or stolen tickets.

Customers are advised to check their purchase upon receipt.

In the event that your tickets are lost in the post and duplicates are arranged for collection at the box office, these will only be given out to the cardholder upon production of the card that was used to make the booking.

For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions, ‘Force Majeure’ means any cause beyond Our control including, without limitation, act of God, war, insurrection, riot, civil disturbances, acts of terrorism, fire, explosion, flood, theft of essential equipment, malicious damage, strike, lock out, weather, third party injunction, national defence requirements, acts or regulations of national or local governments. We will not be liable to You for failure to perform any obligation under these Terms and Conditions to the extent that the failure is caused by Force Majeure.

Please note, in the event of an event being cancelled or postponed, Truefest Limited company number 09996431 cannot be held responsible for any costs incurred by the customer for travel, accommodation or any other related service. Decisions to move or cancel events are not made by Truefest Limited therefore we are not liable and will not offer compensation or refunds of any costs incurred.

It is the responsibility of the customer to inform us of any change of address, contact phone number or email address, both before and after receipt of the goods. Please note that our preferred method of contact for customers booking online is by email, so care should be taken to provide a current, valid email address.

The right to admission to an event is reserved by the promoter and event venue, who may take health and safety, environmental and security concerns into account at their reasonable discretion, and may from time to time carry out security searches. We would advise customers that no refunds will be offered to customers who are refused entry or ejected from a venue on account of late arrival, being (or appearing to be) under age*, declining to be searched, abusive, threatening, drunken or other antisocial behaviour (including smoking in no smoking areas), carrying offensive weapons or illegal substances, or making unauthorised audio, video or photographic recordings.

Ticket holders must comply with all relevant statutes, safety announcements and Venue regulations whilst attending the Event. If Ticket holders have any special requirements or concerns about any special effects which may be featured at the Event, prior notice should be provided when ordering Tickets. Special effects may include, without limitation, sound, audio visual, pyrotechnic effects or lighting effects.

Events and ticket types where an age restriction applies are clearly indicated during the booking process. Please ensure that you read all the information that applies to the event/ticket you are booking, and carry proof of age if appropriate.

In order to prevent fraud and to protect both parties, you may be asked to provide additional information after your booking so that we can verify your purchase.

We reserve the right to cancel any order that further to investigation we deem to be possibly of a fraudulent nature. These checks may include, but not be limited to, a request to be provided with an original credit or debit card statement, attempts to contact a customer by telephone, reference to records to check for other fraudulent activity at an address.

We will always respect your privacy and any personal communication between you and ourselves. We will always comply with any data protection legislation currently in force.

1 RETAIL OFFERS

1 Truefest reserves the right to change these general terms and conditions which are applicable to all retail offers and discounts at any time without prior notice by amending these online.
2 Offers and discounts are not transferable and cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer or discount.
3 All offers and discounts are subject to availability, can be changed or withdrawn without notice, and may be available for a limited period only.

2 Restrictions and prohibitions:

2.1 The use of equipment for recording or transmitting (by digital or other means) any audio, visual or audio-visual material or any information or data inside any Venue is strictly forbidden. Unauthorised recording equipment, recordings, tapes, films or similar items may be confiscated and destroyed or deleted. Any recording made of an Event in breach of these conditions shall belong to the Event Partner(s). The Event Partner(s) and Venue will not be liable for any loss, theft or damage to confiscated items.

2.2 By attending an Event, Ticket holders consent to filming and sound recording of themselves as members of the audience. The Event Partner(s) may use such films and recordings (including any copies) without payment.
2.3 Ticket holders shall not bring into the Venue or display or distribute (whether for free or not) at the Event any sponsorship, promotional or marketing material’s.
2.4 Mobile telephones and messaging equipment must be switched off during the Event.
2.5 Alcohol may only be consumed in public bars and other authorised areas. Smoking is not permitted unless within a designated smoking Area (if any).
2.6 The following are not permitted within any Venue:
I) animals (with the exception of assistance dogs);
2) laser pens, fireworks, flares, smoke bombs
3) Your own food and drink (unless permitted by the Venue);
4) bottles, cans or glass containers (unless permitted by the Venue);
5) any item which may be interpreted as a potential weapon including sharp or pointed objects (e.g. knives);and
6) illegal substances.
2.7 The management of the Venue reserves the right to conduct security searches from time to time and confiscate any item which, in the reasonable opinion of the management of the Venue, may cause danger or disruption to other members of the audience or the Event or is one of the items not permitted in the Venue as listed above.
2.8 Every effort shall be made to admit latecomers to Events at a suitable break in the Event, which may be the interval, but late admission cannot be guaranteed.
2.9 Ticket holders may only leave and re-enter the Venue during an Event at the discretion of the management of the Venue. Otherwise, there will be no re-admission or pass-outs of any kind.

TICKET TERMS AND CONDITIONS

“Names on Tickets”

  • In order to help prevent fraudulent activity all types of tickets must be named as part of the booking process.
  • It is essential attendees supply unique details for each person ticket – ID will be checked upon arrival to site.
  • An email address, phone number and name for every person attendee is required.

General Adult

  • Early Bird tickets are restricted to a maximum of 1 per unique purchaser.
  • Standard tickets are restricted to a maximum of 10 per unique purchaser.

Proof of age

On all ticket types apply to the day of opening of TRUEFEST Festival, not the date of ticket purchase.

Photographic proof of identification may be required and must be either Drivers License, Passport, or part of the PASS Scheme – www.pass-scheme.org.uk


VEHICLES

Car Park

It is not permitted that cars are slept in during the event.
Once parked, it is not permitted to exit and re-enter with the vehicle unless with prior permission.
Cancellation, Misuse and Refunds

Although we will do our best to keep you informed of any cancellation, it is the ticket holders’ responsibility to establish whether an event has been cancelled and the date and time of any rearranged event.
Truefest Ltd has no obligation to refund any monies or exchange tickets should the programme be altered, or varied, for any reason.
Tickets are sold “subject to license” approval.
In the event of the unforeseen cancellation of the event, tickets may be transferable to a future event, at the discretion of Truefest Ltd.
Truefest Ltd is unable to accept any liability to replace any tickets lost, stolen, damaged or unauthorized use of e-ticket codes resulting from the sharing, deliberate or accidental, of e-codes by purchasers, after they have been received. NB. Once an e-ticket is used or ‘spent’, the code will become invalid and any further persons attempting to use the e-code will be refused entry.
Force Majeure: In the case of circumstances beyond normal control, such as war, civil or political unrest, actions and orders from the authorities, strikes, catastrophes, extreme weather, epidemics or other severe damages or highly unexpected factors Truefest Ltd may be forced to cancel the Festival, and all tickets will become non-refundable.
Tickets purchased by Bitcoin and the associated ticket holders, are subject to all the normal terms and conditions outlined in these terms and conditions. In addition, Truefest Ltd reserves the right to make any applicable refunds in either £GBP Sterling, or in Bitcoin, solely at the discretion of Truefest Ltd.


SITE RULES

Site rules apply to camping areas, which include the published Campsite Fire Rules*, personal conduct, such as acceptable noise levels, and management of waste. Site rules must be observed. We reserve the right to eject individuals or groups not following the community site rules or displaying antisocial behaviour.

Fires are not permitted anywhere on site. Only camping stoves are permitted.
No animals may not be brought anywhere on site. (Registered guide dogs are an exception to this rule).
No glass is permitted on the festival site. Searches may be carried out on entry. Any items which are not allowed into the event should be left in the owners car as we cannot accept responsibility for your belongings.
TRUEFEST Festival and Truefest Ltd have a no drugs policy and reserve the right to eject anyone suspected of taking illegal substances or infringement of this policy.
Our eviction policy also includes the use of nitrous oxide and tagging.

Items which you cannot bring to the festival

  • Glass: We do not allow glass on site for safety reasons
  • Non-personal / Excessive amount of cigarettes [at the discretion of Truefest Ltd. and staff]
  • Non-personal /Excessive amounts of alcohol [at the discretion of Truefest Ltd. and staff]
  • Non-personal /Excessive amounts of soft drinks [at the discretion of Truefest Ltd. and staff]
  • Any items with an intention to retail without prior arrangement
  • Nitrous oxide
  • Sound Systems
  • Body piercing equipment
  • Candle flares
  • Floating / sky lanterns
  • Fireworks
  • Generators
  • Lasers
  • Gas bottles larger than standard camping equipment

Other

All attendees must adhere to the rules and regulations of the venue, the event organisers (Truefest Ltd) and of TRUEFEST Festival.
It is possible that exposure to loud music may cause damage to hearing, please bring your own ear protection.
Please be aware that lighting effects including strobe lighting may be used.
It is the responsibility of attendees to check gate opening and closing times – which may change without notice. Ticket holders will not be admitted outside of these times.
Re-entry of vehicles is not permitted.
Re-entry of persons is subject to our exit and re-entry system, and re-entry is at the discretion of Truefest Ltd and its staff.
Truefest Ltd, TRUEFEST Festival and our official agents can accept no responsibility for any personal property. Please do not bring unnecessary valuable items or excessive amounts of cash, as there is an ATMs on site.
Ticket holders consent to video filming, photography and sound recording as members of the “audience”. The audience has no rights to these images, and agrees to the free use of these images and recordings by Truefest Ltd or any authorised third parties in any reasonable manner without claim.
We store your personal data when purchasing tickets. This data will be treated in accordance with our Privacy Policy and Data Protection Policy (available on request) and will not under any circumstances be given to any third party. We may contact you with TRUEFEST related news and information.
ROAR – Right of admission reserved by Truefest Ltd and TRUEFEST Festival at all times.

All of these terms and conditions are governed by English law.
